About
Lamu Arts and Theatre Alliance (LATA) is nominated for its place in celebrating artistic expression and the performing arts. Arts and theatre provide powerful ways for communities to share stories, explore identity, and pass cultural knowledge from one generation to another. This nomination recognises the value of creative platforms in keeping local narratives alive and strengthening appreciation for Lamu's cultural diversity.
